Don’t miss the opportunity to see McBride ride at the last PBR World Finals of his career on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 and Nov. 6-9. For more information, please contact the Professional Bull Riders at 719.242.2800.
Mesquite Championship Rodeo has joined the PBR family. After 50 years as a prominent PRCA weekly event from May through September Mesquite added the PBR Discovery Event. The change took place in June and has been well received by the many fans in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Mark Miller the General Manager of the Arena said that the transition process took 6 months to complete. Mark said there were other options available but the PBR Discovery Tour worked well with the weekly format of The Mesquite Championship Rodeo.
Unlike other PBR events Mesquite kept some of the other Rodeo Events that the crowds seem to favor. They still have the Grand Entry, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, Chuck Wagon Races, and Team Roping. They have a maximum of 25 bull riders a night and the high score for the weekend is the winner.
